An organization dedicated to stopping discrimination against homosexual,bisexual,
transsexual, and transgendered people in the Carmel community. We believe the youth of Carmel
have the power and strength to promote diversity.
Our Mission
GSA is an orginization for anyone who is accepting of others and loves to have fun and meet new people.
Through peer support, leadership development, and training, GSA supports young people in starting, strengthening,
and sustaining the capacity of to:
1. create safe environments in schools for students
to support each other and learn about homophobia and other oppressions,
2. educate the
school community about homophobia, gender identity, and sexual orientation issues, and
3.
fight discrimination, harassment, and violence in schools.

Becoming a Member
Membership: Any student or staff member who is willing to get to know people for who they
are.
